Was out with them since lunch and the conversations were mainly about XPM, her getting a new job and losing weight. She mentioned that she wanted a well-paid and must be an easy job (no OTs). Guess what? She wants to work in HR - HUMAN RESOURCE! We told her it's going to be a tough transition, there'll be pay cut and tasks are not as easy as what she had heard or thought it should be. She thought that HR's job is more relaxing than Engineering. Oh, did I mention that she's an Engineer? A profession which receives good pay and quite high in demand these days. We sounded like her career consultants.
Went to watch the fireworks display with them (Popo, LW, XPM, Khoon, HL & LL) yesterday. Watching and experiencing the sparkles blooming in the skyline was wonderful. Was disappointed with myself and that orbiang camera, tried snapping a few shots but unfortuately the darn gadget can't produce even a clear picture. There wasn't much design exhibited but still displays were lovely.
After that went to TCC, ate desserts and continue chatting. This time, we were XPM's health consultants. She loves drinking carbonated drinks, eat oily and sweet food. It's so unhealthy these days. Was teasing XPM that we have been running 2 cycles of 2.4Km with her, always in circles and we can't get out of it tiil you rest.
It was an enjoyable and cheerful evening with the laughters all round.
