Nothing much on first day - A day to unwind and reflect.... Watched Taiwan's serial on U-tube and played mahjong with my folks (think I lost some). Went online to purchase tickets for "Protege", then decided that I'll buy a pair of "Just Follow Law" for Uncle Ler & Aunty Mary.
Second day of new year, met up with Popo to catch "Protege". A movie on the life of drug addicts and traffickers. It's rather disturbing to see how those white substance can disrupt thousands of lives. Why do people take drugs??? What fun do we get after injecting it? Is it because they are lonely? Is it loneliness or fun that kills? It's loneliness... Went to Airport for lunch after movie, spent time catching up with a very close friend who knows me so well that I don't event need to say much. Was at Mavi's place in the evening, her maid fried bee hoon, some finger food and not forgetting that salad was specially made by Mavis. Didn't get to eat any of those, cos I LS that day. But had lots of fun playing with Lincoln (didi) and Kylie (meimei) was busy playing with her new friend, Angel (Desmond's daughter). Didi is just so chubby and easy going, looking at how he reacts to us is simply so enjoyable. As usual, CP & RT always late and ridiculously late for 1.5 hrs. Bottom line is "People don't change..."
We talked about cars, YW, crap and etc... Ah Heng was quite a chatty chap, he too joined us in the conversations and poor Mavis, kenna suan by him most of the time. Haiyo, I oso kenna wack by Mavis many times wor... that char bo damn violent. Overall, it was quite an easy and relaxing evening with them.
Third day of CNY, start of our annual house visits. Changi Village our first stop there after it's mine, they stayed over for lunch. Lunch menu: papaya & white fungus soup and fried bee hoon.
After that we adjourned to Bedok Reservior, stayed for 45 mins then proceeded to our last stop, Sengkang. Dinner and entertainment provided, played Blackjack and won nearly $6. Took the opportunity to catch up with each other, updated on our work and other activities.
