The slacker...

3rd week into my new job and still nothing much to do. can see my time stamp that am blogging during office hour, so the eng hor... Last week was a little better, I was asked to understudy and helped entertained a group of delegates who came from the island of kimchi. My first time at the meet-the-people session, it was eye-opening. When we got there, I thought I was visiting a Chinese sinseh. The place was pretty run-down, filthy mosaic flooring and rows of mud brown chairs, residents sat there waiting for their numbers to be called and complaints' to be entertainted by the RC volunteers/MP.

This week is coming to an end and there's no achievement, am either surfing for information, sometimes play online games or disturbing friends on msn. Lunch here can be very punctual, 12.30pm, is an auto recess time for everyone. Benefit of working outside CBD area is, we can easily get seats almost at any eateries.

My department is one hillarious group of people. We had our first dept dinner on Mon and was teasing Joe (27 yr old) about LC jiejie (37 yr old, no fashion sense and wears pj to work - according to Joe didi) having a crush on him. In my dept, I have 3 colleagues who are younger (incl my mgr) than me and a hot mama.

Currently they don't have any specific culture here yet but oh well maybe too early to say it. Still testing water... hahahah...
