Entering my 4th month with Olive, the title speaks it all. The feeling of loneliness and handicapped is unbearable. The learning curve is getting steeper each month and also at each event, heavier responsibilies and different roles to play. The feeling of being left to survive on a no-man's island and had to learn the survival skills fast is traumatic.
I took a step back and wonder this is really my cup of tea? What is it that I can't adapt to in this industry? Coping expectations from various parties, coordinating information, trying to piece them together and ensuring that the flow is smooth can be quite a exhausting process. I may be taking it a little too personal at times but it's simply unavoidable to not take those hush critics lightly.
