The Mak Bros...

Chased out by their grandmother couple of months ago, they are now living with their mother in a rented flat @ J.West. They lived in a humble flat, with little furniture and fixtures. Visited Jeremy and Chervas at their new home today with Carol, bought them their favourite MacDonalds for dinner, Fish & Chicken burger meal. As usual, noisy pair of brothers and loves squabbling with one another. Their mum works 6 days a wk and had to comes home only after 10.30, hence only the 2 of them at home. Sometimes it worries me that they are not eating proper meals or maybe eating too much of instant noodles.

After dinner, Jeremy suggested we get into a game of Uno. So we stayed of a while to 'entertain' the both of them. Nowadays, games seems to be more innovative. His Uno came with a machine that throws out cards and totally a difference set of rules from our time. Finally Carol and I decided to challenge them to our traditional Uno. Haa... Made him drew many many cards (X2X2X2). :D

Jeremy is a very sensible and filial boy, he's the boy which every mothers would wish for. He told us that he would save up and give his mum $10 a week. When asked him why he gives his mum money, he said she could use to pay rent or use it when she needed it. For a 12 yr old, he is really mature and understanding.

He would always asked when will we visit him again. I would love to visit them every month or even every week but suddenly felt it was a tough committment, mainly due to distance. They are kids who not as fortunate compared to many around us, there wasn't paternal love/figure since young. As elder brother, Jeremy's role auntomatically double up and additional responsibilities looking after Chervas.

Looking forward to the next visit to their place again...
