Japanese food... My favourite. Had birthday dinner with a friend 2 days ago @ this cosy Jap restaurant in Wheelock Place. Not the authentic Jap restaurant with lots of bamboo partitions, it has a classier decor.
We ordered some side dishes such as their signature salad, spinich with egg & crabmeat in claypot, grilled pork slices and 2 (huge) bowls of rice. The food taste real gd, the pork slices were tenderly griled and crispy on the outside. The salad tasted refreshing with its Jap dressing, crunchy walnut and corn bits. For those that prefer simple and light flavoured dishes, the spinich claypot is a good recommendation.
We had to wait 45 mins to get a table. Though the price table is a little steep but it's worth trying for their customer service and quality food. At least my friend had a great birthday dinner, I believe. =)
